150/120 compressions on 1994 seadoo spx
I bought titled trailer that came eith no title seafoo spx which has not use since 2004. Today I parted uer out and run compressions test one show 150 while other show 120. Its supposed to be around 5 to ten off but its way off. Any idea?

drop a tablespoon of 0.40 down each jug and retest. If comprsssion come up..ring job....if not...piston damage.

That's probably the cylinder that was open to the exhaust while sitting and has developed surface rust. Also do a squish test, if the squish is excessive in one cylinder then you have some worn out sloppy bearings. If it's only the surface rust then dump some trans fluid in there and run it some then repeat. It will clean up the rust and unstick the rings.
