May sound like a noob question... but is this a required tool for the rebuild? Or only if your trying to pull a jug without pulling the engine?

I'll be rebuilding a 1200 next month (first domestic). If I absolutely need this... I'd like to know.

    Cheers!

Life is much easier with a tool like that. It can be done without, but much harder to get the torque correct and access is very tight for 'normal' wrenches.
