    7 foot extension for launching skis in shallow areas

    I Made an extension for launching my skis in shallow Water launches.Any.Idea on Howe toi prevent thé 1 Ends from articulating one Side or thé Other?

    Um, you need the trailer end of the extension to extend way behind the trailer ball, under the existing tongue. The extension must attach along the old tongue to prevent the back end of the extension from moving sideways or up/down.

    What you have is going to need some re-engineering.

    Take the truck out of the discussion. The extension must be rigid to the trailer tongue all by itself.

    Do what Keith did. Buy the Fulton fold away tongue kit and make your trailer tongue longer.

    I looked over that ad you gave me Keith. I see what it needs now. I see they are very pricey. 329.00 ouch.

    If you have the metal parts, you can get just the hinge for around 90 bucks.

    I Will find Some metal for thé hinge. Wasnt planning on spending any $$$$ on This Project.

    I'd use 2.5" receiver tubes and 2.5" x .25" thick square tube for the extension.
