2000 XP Correct Carb Setting for R&D Arrestor
Have a 2000 XP i just bought. I had some electrical problems that I have now sorted.
The motor is fitted with an R&D air plenum.
I have checked the carb sterings and they are as follows, acc pump is still fitted.
Ski will be used at sea level.
Lows 95 on both
Highs 147.5 and 145.
Can anyone confirm if these settings are correct. I have never modified carbs before for aftermarket arrestors.
Thanks in advance

With pumps working I use stock N/Seat 2.0mm with black spring gives me 19-21psi pop off(usually but needs checking with pop off guage)
High -165 closed on the adjusters
Lows 87.5 adjusters open 1.5- 1.75 turns
Idle set to 2800rpm out of water
No pumps used I use all above except 95 lows open the same.

80 gram springs
3/4 out on highs
1-1/4 out on lows
-this is with acc pump cam removed (not working but in place to use as a primer for cold start)
Get your timing advanced 2 degrees by a local dealer.
