    Avgas in my F12x

Have not (yet) installed my MTX-L but it is coming. Last fill I put in 30L of 100LL avgas, and wow it made a huge difference to top end power! Running the 19psi bleed, it would hit 19 and just stay there, with 95 even on the 17.5 it would get to that but then sometimes creep back down, down down on WOT runs of any length, so I guess it was detecting knock, whether due to intake temps or fuel. Would be interesting to measure IAT but after long runs and removing the seat the plenum is never real hot. Anyway, running avgas with a wideband sensor- have read reports of sensors being poisoned within minutes, hours or lasting up to 20-30 hours if it was the latter that wouldn't worry me. Obviously the tune plays a big part but keen to hear peoples thoughts

With the stage II, you can take advantage of that octane!

Thanks yeah I have stage two, but thinking of going to the 18/30 and enlarging the exit nozzle by about 1 or 2mm. You would be the man to ask this question, in these turbo pipes, where do all these bungs lead? is it to the water jacket or to the exhaust passage? To fit a wideband o2 would be too easy! no welding. Also Mac, whats the diff between the 02-03 nozzle and the 04-? there are a couple of earlier ones on ebay, but not sure of fitment/

Will the lead in the AVGas cause any problems with these engines?
