    GTR cavitation

Does anyone else's gtr cavitate from a standing start I have a customers ski and it was hitting the rev limiter maybe 6 hits on take off. have done an alignment and checked carbon seal new wear ring and prop is mint undamaged, resealed shoe etc and now hits 2-3 times on the limiter. Kind of thinking its as good as its going to get with the small intake tunnel etc they run. Any input welcome

Mine did not do it stock, but modded now a little but not as bad as you say. When mine was doing it the motor was misaligned from the factory, causing the carbon ring to not seal properly and leak. Maybe he has a Factory freak!!

me too, I tried everything even a shaft carrier bearing set up, then I replaced my bellows and found my old one had shrunk about 1/2",
put the new bellows in and did the O -ring trick and presto, cavitation is much better for hole shots,
