    Exhaust temp flashimg.

I just bought a 07 1300r and has a d-plat and chip. Could the resistor go bad? Sometime it comes on and doesn't.

When buying a used ski always try to get as much history on it as you can. You said it had a D plate and chip did the previous owner say the cat he pulled out was whole or pieces missing. There are several things that can set off the light. Is the ski over heating, does the engine feel hot during the warning. Could there be a chunk of the cat. Lodged in the waterbox, if you unplug the chip does it stop showing a warning. Do I have corroded wiring.

    Just some things to check.

Check above first and confirm ↑↑↑

also know that 07 doesnt use the chip sold by Riva... uses a 2k or 2.2k ohm resistor, or try to plug the old pipe sensor back in... 90% of the time it wont trigger the light
