135 miles down 2 rivers (Leaf/Pascagoula) to the Gulf and Mississippi Sound

We began our adventure where we ended our previous one-the Leaf River boat ramp in New Augusta, MS(our previous trip began 80 miles up river from this point but had several rocky areas that aren’t PWC friendly and the mini jet boat we took actually took on some damage). We were on the water and headed south at 7:35 am.

Our first stop was a sandbar at the end of the Leaf River, where it joins the Chickasawhay River to form the Pascagoula. From there we continued south down the Pascagoula to Roy Cumbest Bridge, which was our rendezvous point with Maxadrenaline.

As we headed south, we jumped off the main channel to hit Whiskey Bayou-which is a must do…a PWC ride doesn’t get any better than that. Here's a video...

All 3 watercrafts started signaling “low fuel” around the time we went under I-10. After lunch at Huck's we entered the Gulf and headed west, encountering several dolphins along the way. We pulled up at Deer Island with other boaters and observed the off-shore race boats practicing for the “Smokin’ the Sound” races. Finished the day by heading into Biloxi Bay and taking out at a very nice public boat launch at the end of Cedar Street in Biloxi. 135 miles total for the day and ~16 gallons of fuel.

Same here, enjoyed the ride and I do want to return and do the "Goula Glades" again...still miles of runs I haven't made and I could do Whiskey Bayou till I ran out of gas. And unfortunately we were all low on gas at that point.

Great ride, Wade and Chuck & Co. Although I had my own gig going this weekend, I sure missed a great opportunity. Wade - I got your beta and will start editing ASAP. BTW, looking at your route above, did you fill in the blanks or was that a different recording?

    As always, thanks for sharing.

Couldn't tell, but I've been coding on it off & on today. Should be finished by the end of the week. After you hit Roy Cumbest, I just copy & pasted the trails from P'Goula on top. Then I'll pick up your trail as you head into the GoM and Deer.

You the man Billy. One difference though...this trip we went thru Whiskey Bayou and followed Creole Bayou all the way down under I-10 and back into the West Goula. (straight route other than the Whiskey detour). Previously, we turned off Creole and headed north thru Swift Bayou and back into the West Goula a couple miles north of I-10.
