    F12x Keeps burning up Rectifier/Regulators ??

Hey guys. The original RR went out on my ski. (2005) Replaced it with a used one from another ski, Lasted 30 seconds. Bought a new one, Lasted 3 mins. What could be causing these things to burn up like this?

ID:	299789It sound's like your charging system relay is bad. It is in the back of the ski right behind the fuse box.

Check the battery leads and don't hesitate to replace them if they are at all questionable. A poor earth will cause your problem.

    check for a stator short

The three yellow wires coming in to reg are from the stator (that makes the charge) use an ohm meter on each yellow wire should be a meg ohm or more resistance between wire and ground.

Then one ohm resistance between yellow to yellow wire
