R&D vs Riva intake manifold upgrade

Pulled out my ribbon within a hour (didn't pull the intake manifold) now I'm looking at the kits and I was wondering what the difference is. I'm assuming the r&d doesn't use the rubber sleeve and the riva does? Which one would be easier to shove in there?

R&D uses the rubber sleeve still... they both do the same thing. I just installed the RnD delete... No Problems, loc tite the hardware when it goes back together

I have one of each in the two ski's. Both must use the rubber sleeve. Both fit the same, matter of seconds once the ribbon is out. The R&D has an extension from the throttle body into the manifold that smooths out the airflow pathway. Does it actually make a difference to the amount of air that is flowed? Dunno...

The only way to do it is to remove the manifold. The throttle body won't come off without doing that because it will hit the block before clearing the end of the bolts.

I'm not sure if it makes any real difference in performance, but I prefer the R&D piece because the extended flange gives you port matched airflow through the manifold.

If you are talking about the VXR/VXS, this makes it easier:
