    Truing The Hull

Well since I have to fix a crack in the hull, I mine as well true up the hull. Any tips on these 05 RXP hulls? Im gonna stay away from the hook with the straight edge sander as I hear it will cause the hull to porpous, so ill just hand sand that area. Can i go ahead and build up the rear of the hull so I can knife edge it? any tips or trick will be appreciated thanks.

    Jim

I'm guessing these are the little things that the drag guys won't reveal due to spending many hours figuring it all out

I removed the hook completely, and filled in the opas voids in the process, when I did my hull. No porpoising at all, unless trimmed all the way up, with Riva Wedge, low gas and in superman. Up to 88mph so far.

I run the Riva grate, and modded Riva OL plate as well.

    A few pics
That will never float if you keep it like that ya know...

Go through the entire tunnel and bottom side with a razor and remove all the overhang from the factory sealing goop. On the rideplate portion cut it at an angle
