Need Your Advice on Repair Options Please!
2003 STX-R, Low time, 65 HR clean ski, new to me, been working out bugs, but this weekend after numerous test firings, and thinking we were good, put it in the water and hit the switch starter spins does not engage. Pulled the motor this evening to investigate the clutch/bendix, when I got the front housing off, pieces fell out, gear feel out, and I see the mounting point in the block and the cover are damaged, both have broken half away. Is it possible to repair the block? This is a great engine, hate for it to be junk for such a reason. If not what is my next best option?
