Sbt jet pump housing (new replacement) good or bad?
Hey everyone I have a 99 xpl seadoo andi have a crack or two in the veins of my jet pump. I have been looking to replace it. So my question is has anyone used one of the new bolt on replacement jet pump housings from SBT? Are they any good or am I better of just searching eBay for a used one that is in better shape then mine .
Here's the link for the new SBT jet pump http://www.shopsbt.com/mm5/merchant....Category_Code=

I've got nothing bad to say about the SBT jetpumps, I've installed quite a few of them and no problems. I had no problems with the WSM replacement pumps eithr, cept they discontinued selling them last season ( I guess SBT made the supplier much better offer for an exclusive)
It ain't easy finding a decent replacement pump, unless you luck out on somebody parting out a ski like right now. A good pump is the firt thing to move.
OF course the best way to go is all oem on that stuff, but it's a tough bite to take, for a lower horsepower ski I can't see what the rub would be, but keep looking for a good used one in the meantine.
As far as SBT goes, it's a love/hate thing. I've had my problems with them, but they have always resolvd it to my satisfaction, and in the end isn't THAT what really counts?
