IJSBA and UWP are pleased to announce that Mike Rodgers, the IJSBA Technical Director, will administer the technical inspections and rulings at the 2013 Hydro Turf National Tour. Mike Rodgers is a powersports expert and an instructor at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. Mr. Rodgers is also familiar with IJSBA and its policies as a former competitor and participant in factory race efforts.
The addition of a Technical Director at National Events allows for the race promoter to concentrate on amenities and competitor services and allows IJSBA to have direct feedback with the racing environment to plan for technical administration at the 2013 Hot Products World Finals.

"NA Class To Include 800 Superstock On Trial Basis"
The UWP IJSBA National Tour will be including 800 Superstock as part of the Normally Aspirated Class on a trial basis. Eligible 800 class watercraft, built to Superstock specifications will be allowed to compete in the Normally Aspirated class under the following conditions:
These classes WILL NOT be combined at the2013 Hot Products World Finals.
- Four Stroke Stock and 1300cc Two Stroke Limited watercraft will draw or be assigned their numbers as a combined group and will line up accordingly from the pole position(s).
- After the above classes are seated, the 800 Superstock watercraft will draw or be assigned their numbers and will line up accordingly on the positions outside of the watercraft already seated.
- UWP reserved the right to divide the classes into Normally Aspirated and 800 classes, anytime, at its sole discretion UWP reserves the right to maintain the class combined at its sole discretion.
NOTE: Online will remain open for each round until each Thursday 9PM prior to each event.

So excited not only to start the new season but do it right here in south Louisiana. It will be great to see everyone I have not seen since World Finals and all the new racers this year.
