What happened to the original fuel pickups?

The metal intake mesh end part should not have disintegrated. Is it still in the tank?

Info regarding replacement fuel-pickup clunk can be found here, about halfway down the page.

7052301 may be the current replacement Polaris part number for 7052037, 7052081

Poking around on the Polaris Industries parts cross reference, leads me to think that 7052301 is the current part number that will fit. Looks like the 7052301 fuel pickup was OEM on a bunch of Polaris land and snow machines.

    PICK-UP-FUEL,W/FILTER,105MICRON

PartPsitStop has it listed for under $7 each.

Without comparing them directly, I could not say if there was any reason not to use the 7052301 part in the watercraft

Parker Yamaha 30266 is listing the WPS 127312 as replacement for the Polaris 7052037 and 7052081

Parker also lists WPS 30265 with a check valve, which may be an option.
