    timing ,compression,squish help!!

    hey guys im building a tripple pipe gp1200r here in australia and need some input, here are the mods

    tripple pipes
    riva 150psi heads 41cc domes from what they specify
    novi 48carbs with external pumps 115 pilot 135 main 2.0ns 95g spring lows 1 1/2 highs 1 1/2
    vf3 reeds with custom manifold and boost bottle
    gas valves
    rebuilt trued and welded crank
    lightened flywheel
    prox pistons 4.5thou clearance
    rnd igintion module,thinking of using curve 4 where 8 deg of total timing
    14/20concord impeller for a starting point

    i want to know if some guys who have built similar setups think this might be a good starting point as i havent even kicked the motor over yet. My main concern is if anyone has run a setup like this on pump gas and has had good results or they have seized engines from extreme heat conditions or experienced detonation from not running av gas. We have 98 octane fuel here at the pump and im pretty sure its roughly about 93 octane in the usa so if anyone could give me some feedback that would be great cheers
