Noise from supercharger
So I just changed my clutch, sc gear dampener ( teeths were broken) and upgraded to the gen Riva sc shaft. Funnily I hear some noise from the supercharger once I turned it on. What could do this be? Can't tell where the noise is coming from/ the gear dampener and clutch had no play once installed again.

It's like a continues clicking sound and get louder as i pull the gas trigger. its the sound of metal hitting against one another.

They inherently make a distinct chirping noise. Any way you can post a video? Heres one I took of the first start of my 2013 clutch install. Does it sound similar to this?

I have a new 2013, when idling and a bit above the noise is somewhere between a tick and a light rattle, sounds like two prices of not too heavy metal striking each other. Once above about 4000 rpm hard to hear... Sprag clutch I assume?

it sounds exactly the same... was wondering because it didn't make this noise before. and friends supercharger sounds extremely smooth.

Not sure... Maybe, in the new clutch design, they've discovered that like valve clearances, tight and quiet isn't necessarily good...
