    New look 2008 SHO

Ok guys here is my SHO after the damage from the log has been repaired. Also I changed to black out the bumpers. What do you all think? I did some more mods as well but will put them in a different post.

Looks great Matt! I didn't know there were black bumpers for the SHO. Are they the same part #'s as the ones for the FZ?

Mark, the horns, sides & the rear is for the fz and mount up with no problems. The nose is for the vxr. I had to heat mold it to get it to work. Also the new transom plate worked good. Yesterday is the first time I have had it in the water so not much testing. It is on the lift now though so more soon.

Agreed. I just want to wait until I make sure that all is good running wise before spending any more money on the looks of it. The new look was started due to the factory red graphic being damaged when I hit a log last year. They have discontinued the factory graphics for 2008 so I went lime green 2009 look. Anyway the seat will at least be done this winter regardless.

Gotcha. Great to hear on the transom. I was starting to get hesitant to install mine after a friend lost speed on his FZ with one. Glad to hear it doesn't have the same issue on the SHO hull. I don't mind redoing mine one more time, but I sure don't want to do it again twice if it didn't work out.

Mark, I have gained speed but I have also had Jim repitch my prop to raise my rpm from 8000 to 8300 added Leo's pump wedge and some other stuff so I cannot tell you if the transom plate caused a gain or loss. I know it is not the easiest thing to change but I would be interested to hear from people that have only changed their plate to see if what your friend had is consistent. If I had not filled my ride plate and intake grate holes I would be tempted to switch back to see what difference it would make.

Maybe you can swap yours out real quick and let me know
