looking for some riva thru hull installation tips and tricks before i start cutting .
well pretty much got the old exhaust stuff out, minus the water box.
I removed my opas a while back and added the extensions as awl as block offs.
My questions as of now are what do i need to do to the stock IC bracket to get the exhaust pipe to clear the IC ?
Also should i add some silicone to both the stock block off location as well as thru hull portion ?
lastly the pipe has a hole in it at the end assuming its for the barb that was included, for the water outlet, but which water line am i disconnecting for this as the riva directions are VAGUE!
any and all tips are appreciated and thanks in advance.

I just did one on my T-X you have to get the IC relocation kit. I also just blocked off the rear water fitting as there are no cooling lines that reach that far back. Plus there is a water line on the stock water box. I didnt use the rubber gasket for the exhaust outlet. Got some thru hull exhaust fitting sealent from west marine.

ya im making my own right now, got the bracket roughed out, just need to mock the thing up and either make a new portion for the IC to rest on or use to oem upper portion.
