    Replace bunks ???

After selling the GTI, decided to keep the trailer and save the $1000 the dealer wanted for a new one since mine was still in great shape. They put the new FX on, but even after adjusting the winch post as far forward as possible, the new ski sticks over by approx. 10" - 11"inches. The dealership wasn't concerned, but it's not their ski. Being Nanoxcel, and the fact that the pump, battery, and waterbox are in that area, seems like a decent amount of weight to be unsupported. Should I just replace the shorter bunks with ones cut to the proper length, or will it be fine ?

Generally speaking, you really want the hull to be supported by the bunks all the way back to where the hull rises vertically.

Bunks flex, so just installing longer bunks may not actually provide much support way back at the rear of the hull.

Sounds like your trailer is an older model, when watercraft were not so long overall.
