    2012 GTI Battery

Stupid question But how the hell do you get the battery out of a 2012 seadoo gti. I can pull the black handle clips and they move left and right a bit and that is as far as I get. I am thinking there has to be an easier way then removing those bolt's way at the bottom.

Nope it is a complete pain in the ass. Once you get all the bolts removed the plastic "cage" snaps apart IIRC there are six points. Two on top and 2 down on each side. Once you do that it should "fold out" then you have to shuffle the battery out.

It is a total PITA, so much so that ive given up removing it for the winter. I Just stick it on a battery tender and leave the front compartment lid up.

I left it in there for the winter but I was going to remove it to give it a charge but that is way to much work to remove the battery. Thanks I was hoping I was missing something and it was easy to remove.

2 10mm bolts for the battery terminals and 2 13mm bolts for the battery box hold down.....Not very hard....Can have 1 out in about 2 or 3 minutes
