cold air top speeds!!
for anyone who wants to call bullshit go ahead, i dont have video, im sorry, i can take a pic of the gps but we can all do that, i was on the IL river today where it comes into teh mississippi, the speed of teh current os .5mph, you can take that into consideration but the cool air and wanter about 60 degrees is amazing, i did the rear vent air intake, used some duct tape just for testing, i hit 3 back to back runs at 79.4 at 8400, no wedge!! i was running the ppg venturi because with my bored out setup i was reving too fast and staying on the rev limiter at about 76, i like the rear vent air intake but i am just worried about wave jumping, wheni am at the lake of teh ozarks i have landed vertical several times and had teh rear vent under water, so that worries me, but for river top speed runs it is great, i didnt get a mississippi river top speed because it was too windy, that current is around 3mph so i am sure i could have gotten the gps to go past 80, i posted a 79.3 earlier this summer that was on teh mississippi current, this today was in almost no current, without the wedge it doesnt porpose very bad at all, and i was the only idiot on the water so it was like glass, no heat fade or acceleration loss at all for the 2 hours i was out, just thought i would share this,

Evan, thanks for sharing. Im glad the rear vent intake worked out for you.
No wedge huh? Hmmmm, i've been thinking about trying my ski without the wedge. I think i remember burnwater saying something about the wedge and a hook removed hull like you and i have don't go together.
I'll give it a shot!

ya jerry , it feels alot better without the wedge, porposing is prettymuch gone, i want to try the riva blockoffs next season but i winterized it today so im done for teh winter, im pretty pleased though, ill just have to have a setup for river riding and a setup for ozarks riding, thats pretty much my only option

He's got alot more mods than cold air and a blower

My point is I`ll take a blower and cold dry air any day on an internal combustion engine over most mods all put together.
