It depends if is is the supercharged version or not. They made both. If supercharged and has the original washers, you need to replace them. The 2004 gtx supercharged is 185hp. The 2005 rxt's were intercooler and 215hp.

Need to pull the charger and see what you have for washers in it.
check the slip Also!

the 185s had different flywheels and supercharger gears (less supercharger RPM/boost)
Smaller drive shaft, slightly smaller props, no intercooler, less fuel pressure, lower Rev limiter.
Cast pistons vs forged, different compression ratio.
This is off the top on my head I might have missed a few things.
It takes a fair amount to get a 185 up to 215 or higher.

If its supercharged then do a complete rebuild on the charger..
WASHERS AND BEARINGS...
if either of these take a dump on you then it could cost you 2k+ in repair!!!!

Wot, do you mean the 330.00 rebuild kit instead of the 100.00 washer? I really need with 60 something hours? Anything else i should do as far as hoses/clamps while i'm in there? Oops, sorry about caps...
