STX 15F engine stalls when I back off the throttle?
Hi guys, I have had my 2006 ski for around 3 months and I love it but just recently the engine is stalling when I back off the juice . If I ease throttle off the engine won't stall. I have also noticed that my top speed has slightly decreased lately, What should I look at first to rectify this problem.
I am pulling the pump out to replace the bearings over the winter and am thinking weather to do the coupling output shaft bearing at the same time.
What do other guys think?

Thanks for your reply I just found the throttle cable was slack so I have nipped it up now we'll see how that goes. No clicking when I start the key though so IAC motor might be ok.

Cheers guys, Just checked the Idle Speed Control stepper motor resistances against the workshop manual and you are right the resistances are way out.
Now to find a new control stepper motor from somewhere.
Thanks for posting.
