    coolant and oil question

Full engine rebuild finished. have to break in the engine, and get ready for summer. How how many hours should i let run on the trailer?

Which coolant brand and type can i use inside 2007 rxp 215? Regular green coolant?

For oil is it very specific i use the seadoo brand? i have marine volvo penta synthetic oil 4.4L jug sitting around. any problems with it?

Castrol Power RS 4t is what I use and it has all the awesome letters next to it.

    regular green coolant.

run it 3 minutes on the trailer then take it out in the water and ride it around being nice to it for 2 hours or so. If anything is going to go south you should know it by then.

what ratio should i do? 60% water 40% coolant?

will have any problems using the full synthetic volvo penta 10w40?

Be careful on the Volvo oil. I don't think it is suitable for your ski.

You need oil that us designed for the supercharger clutch mechanism such as the Seadoo stuff or a motorcycle wet clutch oil that is 10 40.

Other 10 40 stuff is right for the engine but not the supercharger clutch.

    I agree.
Its cheaper and you don't need the synthetic to break it in and set the rings IMO.
I was going to mention it but figured wasn't worth the trouble getting called out off label. Roll eyes

When you run it in the trailer make sure you hook it to a water hose.
    No more than 2-3 min.
The carbon seal isn't being cooled unless your in the water.
