I just bought the factory discharge nozzles and re-routed the hoses. Plug off the rear nozzles.

    What about the straight fittings?

If you run a Groco water strainer, you don't need the straight fittings. You can just do as Steve said. That's how I run.

Yep, I run a Groco strainer. Carry a barbed union connector just in case the strainer springs a leak and you have to bypass it. (Never happened to me).

Just adding straight fittings and exits will not be the complete mod. Depending on the mods to your ski and the water temp you need to fill the end of the fitting and then drill it out to a certian size.

Yep, I have run one since 2000, no issues. I don't know if there still this way, but when I got mine I had to have the water flow reverse of the indicated flow. Otherwise the debris it catches would be in the center rather than the outside of the mesh. Can't see how full it is that way.

also, if you ever winterize the ski, do not let antifreeze touch the strainer, it will go white and brittle.

Would anyone be interested if we started producing these fittings?

+1 on the strainer and extra hose barb just in case.

I made my own tripple pisser kits using 3/8" 45 degree thru hull aluminum fittings and 3/8" hose. I also widened the ID of the brass elbow fittings using a drill press to allow for a little more water flow. Just plug the ends of the rear exit hoses.

I did this on two ultra 150's. One was modded, one was stock. I never had a problem with either.
