    Air intake question

I'm getting ready to install my kanaflex intake today and I just had a question..

I quickly looked yesterday and there's some electrical connectors right near the stock intake it almost looked like it was attached to the stock piping.. Do I have to secure those to the new hose? Or just leave them there ? Any chance they could melt from the heat of the block?

The only wires I secured or moved are for the voltage regulator. The regulator is screwed into a hat on the front of the stock intake. I cable tied it to the large vent tube under the steering column. Any other wires near the engine I just layed next to the kanaflex so it isn't squashed or strained in any way.

That's what I was worried about the wires closest to the engine... I guess of they're there now they'll be fine haha

They will be fine, just don't pinch them or pull them when running your kanaflex into the hull...
