Visibility spout line to Riva IC

Hi everyone! Im about to buy the Riva Gen 2 powercooler and i was thinking of running the cooling line from the visibility spout instead of the pump strainer that comes with the kit... Has anyone did it this way?? Maybe is too much wather from the noozle to run it to the IC..... Please give me some imput. Thanks!

The only problem I see with that is the IC won't get flushed when you flush the rest, unless you add a flush attachment somewhere in the line.

The Riva IC comes with a dedicated flush line already.

I thought about using the spout for a feed line, you may want to drill it out a bit to get full flow for a 3/8" line, or drill and tap for a 1/4" npt to 3/8" hose barb 90 degree fitting. The other consideration is there is no strainer for weeds and such, you may want to add a strainer in the line to the IC.

The aftermarket stainer provides allot more waterflow.
The visability spout just wont cut it.

Make sure when you install the aftermarket strainer and it's the riva one that you check what side the round hole in the stainer goes to!!!
    You will overheat your engine!!!
If you do it wrong you won't be the first!
If your engine does overheat because you did it wrong, turn it off immediatly and don't start it untill you've resolved the issue.
