sl750 - Thru Hull seal replacement
I'm trying to replace the oil seals in the thru hull seal carrier of my 750. It has the newer style carrier without the crimped ends.
I can't get the oil seals to budge. I bought a seal puller but... nothing. Any ideas?

I had to destroy the seals to remove them.....

The way I've done it a few times before... and probably not Polaris approved... is to take a long flat tip screwdriver and stick it through the opposite end of the seal your removing... and get the flat tip behind the seal (between bushing and backside of seal) and tap it out with a mallet. Gotta work your way around the whole seal... tapping it out slowly so you don't get one side cocked-off and binding.
A screwdriver with a dull tip would be best so you don't gouge or dig into the outer edge of the carrier while tapping out the seal.

I just use a small pair of channel locks and stick the nose of it in the hole, grab the seal and pull it out. The seal gets ruined, but you are replacing it anyways.
