Question Bov not sure ? Help

ok two questions 1st page 42 theres a lot of talk on blow off vavles . id like two get more opions on this, in some ways I understand how they might help the clutches . in other ways I can see how they might be more harmfull . 2nd question ive been told the 2009 sc have the metal washers stock from seadoo , I just bought the ski with 67 hrs on it and im debating on rebuilding the sc just to be on the safe side ? the ski is very clean and completely stock 2009 rxt x and if I decide to do the rebuild now should I stay with the stock sd kit , or would I benefit more from a riva or other aftermarket kit . theres so many kits on ebay with the tools included . but there the same or less price than a factory sd kit with no tools . I can only think these kits are mabey from tiewan ?

No BOV needed. I would check slip and ride the season, then rebuild in off season. Jerry does it for $75 + parts(go OEM)

    +2 forget the BOV

Have your SC rebuilt by the expert, Jerry. EVERYTHING you need is right on this site and online store, so many guys have regretted ebay purchases.

another thing im hung up on is . I want to do the intercooler tubing upgrade kit . the aluminum tubes , and it already has the bov flange cut into the pipe ? why is riva so convinced this is the way to save wear on your disks . they don't offer a block off plate with this kit , do anyone know of any tube kits without the bov flange , I know ill get better response without all the rubber tubes from my intercooler
    thanks again for your responses

riva does have the BOV block off kit. they put the flange in the pipe because some want the "option"
to put a BOV on. I just did the IC upgrade kit on my 09 T-X no BOV for me.

You will need the relocation bracket for the IC. Do it right the first time it will make room for the riva rear exhaust if you ever do that too. You can find everything you need in the parts store. dont forget the "greenhulk" discount code.

i did the rear exhaust and gen 3 cooler and didnt use a relocation bracket. I did use a riva water box though.

Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT buy the cheap SC rebuild tool kit that comes with the paper thin shaft holding tool. Buy BILLET!
