Heads off and getting pressure tested/ trued. Im still running stock valves. Anyone running Supertech light weight valves out of the store? I already have titanium retainers and stock springs with 50 hard hours but ski sat up for a few years with rocker shaft on it. What valves and spring set if I should be running? Ferrara valves are heavy but if i run springs its ok. Do you have to machine head for springs. If I go that far Im opening up going bigger along with getting Dyno Darrel from Cycle Dynamics to flow the head. Thanks

Anybody else ever used them and does anyone know for a fact they are good at 8600 for extended periods?

The guy above your post is enough to solidify your choice. He's the go to guy for head work. FYI I used Supertech in a set of turbo 3.8 GM heads and they were great. No issues.

I`m gave your site info to Dyno Darrel at Cycle Dynamics up here in Kenner. I may get him to do port work and flow the head. This guy is a GOD for head work on bikes. I know he uses Southland machine (tutone bros) down there near you alot. But this one we are going with Precision Marine and their guy in the machine shop. If he wants me to go bigger then I`ll go bigger. We`ll see. Thanks!
Oh for an update: the head is still warped and has a concave or convex depending how you look at it in the head. The last guy didn`t yank the intakes to clip the head so he milled what he could. Junk knows who I`m referring to. So he will only be doing flywheels for me now.
