Anybody Ever think about slapping a 250 horse supercharged 4tec into an old seadoo xp
Just so happens I have both...
96 seadoo xp
255 horse supercharged long block minus electronics and supercharger..
The motor came in a customer's ski that was toasted, but still in running order.. New replacement on the way.. May just eat the core charge and rebuild it for a sit down.. Seen it done in larger ski's and even a stand up... I think there's room..
I'd need all the wiring. Fuel pump.. A little better understanding of the mosh posh of plumbing and emissions stuff..
Thoughts and idea's appreciated... Maybe go racing with this joker..

It has been done yes, it requires mods to the upper hull to clear manifolds ect ect, IMO its too heavy for the XP.
That being said, it would make a great project, not only that, the stock engine would have enough power to scare the hell out of you so as long as its well put together it should be reliable as hell.

Check out YouTube, there is a guy in Australia who built one and has a video on there. His riding style interesting but ski looks quite quick.

the stock rxp is IMO too short for real power
so a xp hull would be out of the water more than in
