    Upgrading my 06' GTX

I've owned my 06' GTX for about 2 years now and I want to upgrade it a little. I'm getting ready to buy the new RXP-X, and my GTX is going to my wife and she's a speed junky. I want to give her every advantage I can on the GTX and upgrade where I can. The problem is, it's difficult to find parts for my make/model type as it's not a 215hp+. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Is it a 185 or 155? How fast do you want it to go?

Welcome Alex. If its the 155 hp GTX, theres not a lot available for you. There used to be a performer kit for the N/A 4-techs in the on-line store. That plus maybe a modified "Jims" plate should get you around 60 mph +/-, but its going to take a bunch of $ to get much past that. Good luck !!!

Thanks for the welcomes and I'm sorry I forgot to put the HP in there. It's a 155. Any idea on where I could find the performer kit? By online store do you mean rotax, riva....? I'd like to get her up to 65...if possible.

No, Jerrys on-line store here on Greenhulk. If I remember, the kit provides an intake mod, solas concord 13/19 prop, pump wedge, opas block-offs and aquavein intake grate. Did this last year on my GTI 155. Went from 56 -59+ mph, w/o the "Jims" modified plate. Did the usual free mods, ie: trimming the reverse bucket & filled in the ride plate holes w/ JB weld.

You won't get to 65 without a supercharger unfortunately. Check out my Sig for what I've done to my 185 to get to 65. There are just no bolt on parts for the 155s to get those speeds sadly.

Thanks to both of you. Very helpful. I'm glad I joined this community. I can see a lot happening for me now that I have this resource. I found the parts in the online store. Thanks!

The only solution I see here is to buy her a RXT-X as well.

haha, I'm a Marine. I'd have to deploy about 3 more times to buy her one as well. Maybe I'll just buy an intertube and drag her behind me...
