help in buying a used Seadoo

I'm going out to look and test drive a 2006 seadoo supercharged limited GTX.
    http://sacramento.craigslist.org/boa/3788120992.html
It only has 49.1 hours and need some advice and what to look for so I'm not wasting $6,300.
The current owner has had it for 2 1/2 years and said when he bought it the original owner told him it didn't need to be service until it hit 50 hours. It had 29 hours when he bought it.
It was garage kept for 1 year and then stored in the driveway with the cover on for the last 1 1/2 years.
He said he has only taken it out on the lake once a year and has no need for it anymore.
I know the importance of winterizing it for storage, oil change and spark plug change beginning every season.

With all that in mind (no maintenance done in 2 1/2 years) what should I look for before I hand over any cash?
    Any advice is welcomed.
    Thanks

What? No Maintenance for 2 1/2 years?

i would run unless you can get him down far enough on the price that could cover additional repairs if they pop up. Personally at that price i would think you could find something else that was taken care of. Who knows if this guy even washed it out or flushed the exhaust!

Skis are cheap to maintain if you keep up on the preventative maintenance. They become B-O-A-T's when they arnt taken care of (boat stands for break out another thousand ) Good Luck!

    Thanks for the advice.

I heard supercharged Seadoos don't have a long life spam before repairs are needed.
    It that true?
I have a 2004 Seadoo GTX with 100 hours and taken care of. Have had no problems with it what so ever.
Looking for the same thing in a supercharged Seadoo?

From what I gather, the SeaDoo supercharger has to be rebuilt every 100 hours due to their ceramic washers they use for the supercharger clutch. The newer models claim 200 hours with the titanium washers.
