Re : RXP Handling in a Closed Course

So I had a closed course race with my RXP, my mods are :

    OPAS Block offs (normal ones)
    Riva Sponsons
    Riva Intake Grate

But I am not so happy about how this turns, I prefer the GPR when it comes to closed course.

The things I noticed is that sometimes while turning its like skids on a side like a car on gravel to try a good amount which is kind of scary !!!

What can I do to make this thing handle better !!!

I would think different sponsons will cure your problem. Witht he opas block offs the RXP is much more predictable and the is also a much more comfortable ride. But you do have to hit the hammer to turn. I`m actually working on a rudder like jetboats to see what this does. You will lose a little speed but turns should be insane.

Worx and Riva have sponsons for the RXP (I'm sure there are others). Try giving Richard (way2fast on this site) a call and see what he can get for you. His prices are great.

    - have the sponsons all the way down .

    - get a UMI steering or at least a Handlebar to get more weight to the front off the ski after turns.

( you can work with the body in turns better with the low UMI steering)

    - extended Ride Plate is an option

    - RIVA RXP Pro-Series O.P.A.S. Block-off Kit is much better for racing

His prices are the cheapest out there. He could also direct you as to which one you should go with pertaining to the type of riding you most commonly do.

The sponsons are already all the way down

And yes its true cant feel the steering comfortable at all , I think will improve with the throttle conversion kit

And how much are the pro block off better, could you feel the difference ???

throttle conversion kit will help, but you have to chage that "High handlebar" to a "low one" to get a better riding position

the "pro block off" will make a big improvment
