    Another Low RPM ski....help

I have a 2006 RXT that I'm only getting about 7400 to 7500rpm's 62mph. The ski has OPAS block offs and 2deg wedge the rest is stock.
A little history on the ski. I bought it with a broken timing chair and wiring harness was shot. Replaced wiring harness, ECU with 07, got a valve job done, new pump liner & prop and replace SC washers.
i checked my compression and have about 165 in all 3 holes. Could I be losing rpm's with cam timing?
another little thing is my speedo is not reading, everything else is working on the gauge. Thanks

check for any boost leaks. Whats the pitch on the impeller you threw in it? and how hot is it where your at? I know when it gets hot here we loose some RPMs. It could be heat and a slight boost leak, could be incorrect pitch, heck it could be a lil bit of all those things or somethin else lol.

Sounds like maybe a 185 ECU.

If you could post the a pic of the ecu, with the part# showing, I am sure someone could tell you if it a 185hp ecu. That would eliminate one possibility.

That a lot of compression. Retard the timing a bit and get 1 or 200 rpm back and take a litte out of the prop if need be to get your R's up to 7800+ and there's your at 65+ mph..
