Early yesterday morning I dropped my jet ski in at Crab Creek Boat ramp in Norfolk Virginia and departed from Lynhaven Inlet around daybreak.

I ran the length of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and anchored up next to some good breakers off of Nautilus Shoals. Conditions were great getting there but deteriorated as the morning went on.

I fished two lines with live hard crab in about 6 feet of water. I caught 5 big cow nose rays, one dog shark and lost a decent red drum about ten feet from my ski. I moved twice but could not get away from the Rays. Had a great time!

I only fished a couple of hours cause I had to get back home, change clothes and go to the Norfolk zoo with my wife, son and grandson for mothers day. First time I had been there in 30 years, plenty to see and do.

Here are a a couple of pictures and short videos of me reelin in some rays. One time I was hooked up with a ray and shark at same time, had a tangle but got it straight. The trip back across the bay was rain and four to five footers but it was nice where I was fishing.
