    GP800R Pressure Test

I'm getting ready to pressure test my GP800R motor. I have made block off plates for the exhaust and intake, however won't I have to block off the powervalves too?? The only info I have found on a procedure for this was with motors without powervalves....

don't know anything about 800's(or much else) but doesn't the powervalve housing have a cover plate with a gasket? If so just install, torque and test then.Got to plug up all intake and cooling nipples.

yes, just bolt the covers on with gaskets. Also block the pulse lines, and install spark plugs

Thanks guys. Wasn't sure if it was sealed where the actuator goes through the side of the powervalve. Anyway it doesn't matter, impossible to seal up an engine that has two holes in the case, serious bummer. WFO, want to rebuild a motor?
