Skat-Trak Dual Impeller for Kawasaki 300X

Ok guys, who has/is using the Skat-Trak dual impeller and whats the feedback on it? Noticable gains? Worth the money? Any issues?

Hmmm... so 95 views and not one comment. Can I take it that no one on here has tried this impeller yet or is everyone just keeping quiet about their results?

Who was the person that actually tested it on the 300?
What make an pitch single impeller was used in the back to back test?
What pitch inducer and primary was used on the dual prop?
What exactly were the speed and rpm differences?
What level was the ski at in modding?
Was the acceleration measured back to back?
Did this person test inshore or offshore?
    Fresh or salt water?
Was the tester doing only a strait line speed test or hole shot and buoy testing?

There is so much more than just top speed. We say that all the time when someone says the Yamaha is faster yet everyone only gets concerned with only speed gains on a craft that is not built for top speed. The questions I have mentioned above ate the real questions that need to be answered not only no speed gains.

correct GL we never get the full answers here i guess some are all tied up in top speeds to catch these yammis and seedoo's, i think we all just need to be happy in the set ups we have, but would be great to get over that brick wall someday

GL I've ridden a 300 with one I posted some results in another thread bottom line for a stock ski it's not worth it. The hook up was improved the mph was 1-2 mph slower. I did not test acceleration. As you know I only ride offshore and was testing it for that.

I agree. I can't get the answers anywhere so it is more than a fault of this site. Some poeple have said no gain in top speed. If they know this factually I would like more actual results from the testing. I would like all the above questions answered. The rest is more important to me.

I have been searching for your test results and can't find them. Can you direct me to the thread. I even kept it simple and searched all your post and only used skat and could not find it.
I know quite a few are getting sold. There is not a trend in a common pitch and don't really know what was done to the skis. Someone has to have information on this.

Ive ridden a 300X with this dual prop set up. I dont know what the pitch is and the grate looked factory. The pwc is really only used for towing surfers into waves. I gave it a spin thru the surf line and tried to unhook the prop in the whitewash. It doesnt get unhooked....Bottom end punch was better compared to my stock prop. I couldnt do any real top speed runs because it has a rescue board trailing it and board holders mounted to the sides but it didnt seem as fast as my boat with a stock prop and grate. But again they only use this for tow in surfing. Bouy to Bouy racing with the right rpms may be decent but I would not use it for offshore/endurance racing.

    good luck...
