The famous oil question
Hi everyone was wondering if someone out there could answer some oil questions for me. I have a 2003 yamaha gp1300r that was freshly rebuilt last year an i also did the oil pump block off an the D plate conversion also everything esle is stock. My first question is because of having power valves do i need to use synthetic oil? An also what should my oil ratio be??

No you do not have to use synthetic. 32:1 or 40:1 make your pick. I personally run 32:1, cranks are expensive especially built ones and I want it to get all the oil it can.

Oil is good. Too much oil is just a waste.
