    Probably losing gas or spark.

If all sudden-like I suspect spark. Kill switch malfunction?

If more like a gradual pulse, then could be gas.

Could also be a hot piston or cold cylinder seize.

Depends on what the exact symptoms are, and what the service history is for this engine.

Here is some info about it...compression is about 125 per cyl...I changed all gas lines, fuel sender, plugs, and new battery. Now I do know the one of my plug wires did pull out and I put it back thinking it was good to go...All its doing is every now and than the power will cut out I can release the throttle and it will pick right back up and like I said it doesn't do it all the time

could it possibly be an adjustment I need to make on the carbs ...such as the high low valves?

Well, have the carburetors been taken apart and internally cleaned, then rebuilt with OEM parts?

I took it apart and cleaned it...all my gaskets and everything looked great so there were no need to rebuild

Did you set the arm height to the .060" service spec? If not, this makes a huge difference in how a domestic motor / keihin carb operates. Typically they are set way too low causing a lean condition.

EDIT: Check out post #7 here... http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...=1#post1793016

That should help with the carb work.

The accel pump only wrks when you rapidly squeeze the throttle. Otherwise it does nothing for fuel delivery.
