How to lube drive shaft coupler-waveblaster?

    1995 WAVEBLASTER
folks-rebuilding waveblaster after being submerged for a few days. I see a grease fitting on the top of the reed valve/intake cover. Rubber tube going to drive shaft coupler. I assume i need to use grease gun and pump waterproof grease through tube to coupler? How do i know its reaching and had enough? Does it squeeze out somewhere? Thanks!!!!

this requires a little finesse with the grease gun. if it squeezes out you've blown the driveline seal out.

factory spec is one shot a season..use more at your own risk. there ain't a whole lotta room in there for grease btw.

On old skis I'll pump it in until I fee a little more resistance on the grease gun..depending on the condition of the hose

the ski is 18 years old, keep that fact in mind when pumping the grease in there.
