Must Read!!! Caution. Important Break-In.
DO NOT FOLLOW THE MANIACS or MOTOMANS BREAK IN.
Again DO NOT FOLLOW the Mainiacs or MOTOMANS break in.
My motor is now due for a tear down and it aint pretty.
FOLLOW THE Manuel Closely.

Its no joke.
The vent on the Valve cover. Two on top tubes go into one hose that feeds back into the Air box. It pretty much melted shut.
Noticed some slower hits off bottom and lower top speeds.
So being prepared and cautious we have decided to tear her down to the crank. Find out why #2 cylinder is running so hot or letting massive amout of exhaust out that vent.
Too soon to give the complete details but I can say, CHILL OUT ON THE BREAK IN.
What I failed to observe in the Motomans write up was that he is not running BOOST on his break in.

So I guess people should stop the top end GPS runs for the specified number of hours.

I would say follow your manuel.
If your prepared for a tear it down then fine. Commonly one would have to replace the rings and try again.

did you do a leakdown on it before you decided to teardown the engine?

Kinda just buck up, whistle dixie and explain nothing. See what flys but Im fully preparred for any due responsibilty. Testing has its ups and downs. Its the game and why we get so much attention. People are watching for the pro and cons. Everyone here learns from it. Sure its sucks airing your laundry and Im sure their will be lots of "I TOLD YOU SO" "I knewit was gonna happen" and my fav one "You Dumb Azz"
