    Ride plate issue

After installing the R&D ride plate on my kawasaki 300x I can no longer reverse. It won't let me. How can I fix the issue?

What do you mean? Is it just slower to reverse now? If so, that's normal. You can adjust it slightly but it's not the best even with a standard plate. Changing the trim when reversing can help.

Personally I adjusted mine the other way. My is set so it's almost a neutral position. I prefer this as I find I rarely use reverse (maybe used to not having it because of the STX-R)

No I mean as it Dosent let me reverse.... It stays as neutral. I need reverse as when I'm docking and stuff. Ik there's a post somewhere where it says to shave off the bucket some so it works but I can't find that post that's y I'm asking to see if any1 knows.

Did you notch the bucket to bring down a little farther...the R&D is slightly longer too, your gonna have to give her more thrust...don't worry then she'll start moving back...

Yep you need to notch both sides of the bucket so she engages fully into reverse with the R&D plate.

Eso ocurre por el el ride plate R&D y Riva son mas largos y la tapa del reversa no logra direccionar el agua por debajo del PWC por lo tanto la reversa en 70 % menos efectivo!!

Not a lot. Best thing is to take a little off at a time on both sides until the reverse bucket falls into position. Not hard at all.
