    2004 MSX 150 speedodometer problem

    2004 MSX 150 speedodometer problem. my speedo shows 0 mph. the speed wheel on the back spins freely. what do I need to check next..thanks

    Check the wiring between paddle wheel and display. Somewhere along the way a wire may be damaged or unplugged.

    Start with the wiring right at the speed sensor. Look for physical wire damage at the sensor, and where the cable passes through the hull.

    Then follow the cable inside the hull.

    It is possible that the actual speed sensor has failed, or even the NGI display. Start with the wiring inspection.
