Rotax Or Riva Valve Train Upgrade ?

I am not sure how many people have done these upgrades but I need some guidance please. Im running a Roatx Race ECU and can reach RPMS of 8500. Should I install the Rotax Racing spring retainers with shims or the Riva Valve Train Kit upgrade? Thanks

I was needing this same info. Read my post it will help.

I think the RR would be harder to install as the Riva kit you can buy the install kit or barrow it. With RR I think the head has to come off.

RR is cheaper for me for sure with two RXP's, but for just one I would do the Riva. IMO,,,,

Thanks for the info. Can you use the Riva tool to install the Rotax retainers and shims?

Spend the extra money on the Riva kit and be done with it.

    Titanium retainers VS aluminum
Fresh higher rate valve springs VS just shimming your old weaker ones

    That's just my opinion!

Thanks, It makes sense to me. If my wife and I come over to Smith Mountain this spring for a ride we would like to meet you and go for a ride. We usually come every spring for a few days. Any tips on a good rental home for a long weekend shoot me a PM please.
