    blew supercharger

Blew my charger on the weekend. Shaft bent and the wheel is munched. I found metal specs in the oil in the supercharger. The filter and dipstick look good though. Am I good to just change the oil and go?

Only way I really know of on the 1.8 is to yank the motor, pull the pan..... Or a guy might be able to go so far as to yank the oil pump off and see what can be sucked out from the oil pump feed holes. I think those 2 feed holes are dam near the lowest points on the engine.

The suction tube is, but it has a very fine mesh filter on the end so it is impossible to etract the metal without pulling the motor out and dropping the oil pan.
