    Carrillo rods

    guys any one know the tourq spece for the carrillo rods bolts
    thanks in advance

    I bought Molnar rods and they where 25 ft lbs plus 55 degree. Not sure on the Carrillo but as if its torque wrenches your thinking about it should get you in the right area.

    don't use a torque wrench, you need a strech gauge to install the carrillo rod bolts.

    have a machine shop do it. Not worth spinning a bearing

    i checked my Carrillo rods bolts with a stretch gauge to get .005 to .0055 and the torque was 45ft/lbs, everyone of them was perfect
