looking at buying an rxp with 377 hours. ??????

What do I need to look for as far as things that may need to be replaced other than supercharger washers and prop wear ring. It was a Florida ski.

Do you know the service history? That will say the most. Check the compression and overall condition. I would say that's a lot of hours and would not personally, but if priced right, maybe.

What year, and what's the price? Fresh water?
Like the others said; documented maintenance history is a must. No receipts/documentation of maintenance-no sale.

I hope your getting it cheap...
Compression test it and ride it for 20+ min with a lot of WFO riding.
If its got an issue it normally will show in that amount of riding.
That's a lot of hours but if its been maintained by an expert then it might be ok.
I hope its a 07 or newer because 06 and older had issues with valves, flywheel bolts, s/c washers and a few other minor things.
A newer 08 and up didn't have any of those issues and you could be ok for a while.

    Rip on...

Examine yourself first..why would you buy a ski with that many hours on it?..not unless it was at a garage sale for $600 would I even consider it. Especially in a salt water market.

Consider what one sinking incident can do to the electronics..and that damage creeps up over time.

Unless there are really good service records and an even better price..move on!

I would pass on any ski from Florida. Its probably either beat to hell from salt or stolen.......
