Finger Throttle Question ?
I got a used RIVA finger throttle and bar extension kit and was wondering if I need one of these for the throttle cable ?

I ordered the adaptor in the link in the original post from Jerrys store, did I order the wrong one or was I shipped the wrong one ? The male threads are too big for the threads in the finger throttle.
No where on the package does it have the part number SD-01530 and there was only the one piece in the bag.

I just put one on a buddy's ski...the set screw in the throttle must go between the 2 large round discs on the end of the cable, but in order for it to fit, the little NUB on the end must be removed...I used a razor and trimmed around it, then it slid right in...

I have the same finger throttle on my 98 and it is installed as you described and works great.

I phoned RIVA tech support and they confirmed what Danny said no adaptor is required the set screw goes between the two round disks to hold the cable into the finger throttle. The cable termination at the throttle body has enough adjustment to take the slack out of the cable. So it's finally all installed and ready to try this weekend.
